Slip
sliding away
January 23, 2006
Illegal immigrants pouring across the borders by the
thousands, taking American jobs, accessing American healthcare and welfare at
the expense of the American taxpayer, committing unspeakable crimes against American
citizens — and there sits the American political machine in Washington, DC,
Democrats and Republicans alike, doing absolutely nothing to stop the carnage
against American citizens. While the
Democrats are communists, the Republicans are fascists, and the race to see who
wins the seat of power in DC is blithely ignored by a majority of the American
people.
Lobbyists buying and currying favor in the Washington, DC,
beltway; hundreds of thousands of dollars changing hands while the American
people slave away, day after day, working to pay taxes and hopefully have
enough left over to keep a roof overhead, food on the table, and the vehicle
running. Does Washington, DC, care? Only at election time when the promises of
tax cuts pour forth from politicians mouths like water from a fountain! Once the election is won, there isn’t a tax
proposed that the lot, Republicans and Democrats alike, aren’t in favor
of. The American people mean nothing
more to the DC beltway crowd than the money they are required to pay the
federal coffers for the privilege of being shafted time and again. And the American people continue blithely on!
President George Bush (the son) has proclaimed our most
sacred of documents, the United States Constitution, to be nothing more than a
“g-d piece of paper.” And this man is
leading our country? What can we
possibly expect in the way of good from such a man? How can we possibly trust anything coming
from the vocal cords of such a man?
In the wake of Hurricane Katrina and Rita, this man who
thinks the constitution is nothing more than a “g-d piece of paper,” has called
for greater federal authority in dealing with disasters. The intention, obviously, is to bypass the
Posse Comitatus Act, enabling the use of military personnel against American
citizens.
Over in Iraq, the death toll among American troops there
continues to climb. It was not all that
long ago that Saddam Hussein and the politicians in Washington were the best of
friends, Washington and the media carefully ignoring the extermination of Iraqi
people at the hands of their friend, Saddam Hussein. But Saddam Hussein turned into an enemy when
he refused to do what the Americans wanted.
Now his “transgressions” are very important to the American government
and the media. Had Hussein done what the
American government wanted, does any thinking, reasoning American believe that
Bush (the father) or Bush (the son) would have invaded Iraq?
The claim of wanting to establish a “democracy” in Iraq
debuted when it became obvious that the weapons of mass
destruction ploy wasn’t going to work.
After all, there had to be some “reason” for invading Iraq. Democracy in Iraq is an illusion, always has
been, always will be, but it sounds good to the American people who have no
concept of the region, its people, its religions, or its politics, but who want
to believe their government is acting in their best interests.
The American people haven’t a clue the underhanded
political games being played in foreign countries in their name, games that
have earned America the name of Imperialist America with the enemies to go with
it, with the terrorist tactics engaged in by people who know they can’t win the
battle against the imperialists in a head-on confrontation. And the Americans chant “death to terrorists”
in the name of patriotism and wonder why their president calls the constitution
a “g-d piece of paper!”
In a word, the government and the bureaucracy, firmly
entrenched in Washington DC and in the state capitols across America are corrupt
to the core. People working within the
bureaucracies and as elected politicians (definitely not statesman) have no
more concern for the constitution then President Bush does.
Don’t believe it?
Ask your state representatives why they haven’t asserted the Tenth
Amendment guaranteeing state’s rights against the multitude of federal grants
that have turned state legislatures into nothing more than rubber stamp
bodies. Ask your federal representatives
why they haven’t disbanded the unconstitutional US Department of
Education.
Ask Representative Ron Paul, Texas, why the Republican
Party is going to ridiculous lengths to get someone to run against him because
he stands for truth, justice, the United States Constitution and the Bill of
Rights. Shouldn’t they be embracing him
instead of treating him like a pariah?
The judicial system is no longer in place to uphold the
law, to uphold the state constitutions, the United States Constitution and Bill
of Rights. Only those who can avail
themselves of the highest paid legal experts have any hope of seeing justice in
America today. The rest are nothing more
than fodder for the grist mill of judicial corruption, deception and
skullduggery.
There is not a child born in this country today that is
safe from the grasping fingers of the government. If it isn’t the government schools dumbing
children down, it’s child protective services literally kidnapping children to
feed the child welfare grist mills and, in some cases, such as the Franklin
cover-up, allowing them to be sexually exploited by powerful politicians and
those who pander to them.
Traveling out into the world beyond the front door of your
domicile, nothing seems amiss. You certainly hear nothing of the above in the
government controlled media. The Franklin
cover-up was covered up so well that few are even aware it happened. If one chooses to be ignorant of all of this,
it is easy to be so.
But is that really in the best interests of any
American?
In the words of Thomas Jefferson,
“The most effectual means of
preventing the perversion of power into tyranny are to illuminate … the minds
of the people at large, and more especially to give them knowledge of those
facts which history exhibits, that they may … know ambition under all its
shapes, and … exert their natural powers to defeat its purposes.”
Education is THE most important factor in regaining and
retaining our freedom under the Constitution and Bill of Rights. With every generation of children graduating
the government schools, the future of our unique nation becomes bleaker.
It is our Constitution, our Bill of Rights,
we can either fight and be free or capitulate and be slaves.
