I did go to your links but failed to find out anything about Modern Red Schoolhouse. All I saw was that there are dozens of different factions fighting over school reform. I'm just guessing but surely some of these are conservative factions, some are fuzzy-minded, and some are subversive in intent.

learn-usa.com: Actually, they are all fuzzy-minded as they had to meet the request for proposals put out by NASDC. If you are interested in Modern Red Schoolhouse, you will need to look at the NASDC website and the ECS website.

What you're saying about Mr. Bennett leads me to think that either you're mistaken or he's the most pathological liar in the world. Even Hillary, in her new book, could not disguise her true self and her ugly motives. Mr. Bennett has had a perfect platform in his books to subtly lead people to believe that OBE is wonderful, etc., etc. But he hasn't done that. He has consistently stood for things that are good. While it's true that he has a gambling habit, it simply shows that he's weak and sinful, not that he has evil intentions toward other people.

learn-usa.com: Like I said before, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Some one as well educated as Bill Bennett obviously is not ignorant of what he's doing.

I am not unwilling to be convinced, but I would have to see a smoking gun showing that Mr. Bennett and his group clearly wish to produce a substandard curriculum and harm Americans. You have made accusations all over the map, but you haven't shown this. You have simply shown that he is one school reformer out of many, and that school reform is taking a dangerous path these days. Mr. Bennett's own book stated that he disagrees with many of the school reformers. Show me that Mr. Bennett is leading the way toward the danger zone and that K12 is a bad curriculum, and maybe I will be convinced.

learn-usa.com: No, I haven't make accusations all over the map. What I have done is stated the facts based on fact. Much different. Again, what Bill Bennett says and what Bill Bennett does don't correlate. His association with the likes of Chet Finn, Tom Boysen, and Lowell Miliken are about like me saying I hate communism but Hillary Clinton is my best friend.

Sorry to argue with you. I am glad you're doing this research, and if you convince me you will have a true convert. But I see K12 as a good thing for people who want a solid academic curriculum, and I don't understand your frenzy about it.

learn-usa.com: Your accusation is without merit. What I wrote I wrote as a concerned American about something that is being put in place to change the meaning of “homeschooling” and is intended to bring homeschoolers back into the system.

And I'm not here to convince you. What I am here to do is present the truth. That is why my article is documented. There are some people in this old world who would insist vehemently that it is the moon up there warming the earth when it is obvious to everyone else that what they refer to is the sun.
