If the K12 curriculum does what you want it to do, and you are amenable to the government power and control that comes with it, no problem. However, if you are a parent who is not amenable to the government power and control that comes with the curriculum, and you aren't being told about the government power and control that comes with the curriculum, then there is a problem. And there is and has been a problem with this.
