Dear Gladys,

I'm not the one attacking ... you are. Further, you started this conversation, not me. And you have definitely shown angst in what you've written. Instead of thinking about it with an open mind, you got all bent out of shape and went on the defensive, trying to make it appear that you were being attacked personally ... thus your comment about your right to your choices. Your attacks haven't been on the issues, your attacks have been off the wall and off the issues. When someone does that, it is because they don't want to see the message, they want to kill the messenger.

I don't need to defend my position, Gladys, as what I wrote is based on fact ... what these men, themselves, have said and done.

Now, if you can refute what these men, themselves, have said and done, go for it. I really do want to see it.

As for your wanting to see my credentials, that's an elitist attitude if I've ever seen one. Intelligence isn't measured by credentials, Gladys, intelligence is measured by the ability to read and comprehend, to use facts to formulate a reasoned conclusion. I've seen many an educated “idiot” ... people who have a college degree but can't apply what they have learned and can't look at what they were taught with a discerning eye of whether it was correct or was the particular political slant of the prof.
