Dear Debbie,
Thank you for contacting me. K12 does work for some people. And some people do like it. But that isn't what concerns me. What concerns me is the purpose of it
and the fact that K12 hasn't been overly truthful. I, like so many other homeschoolers, received a K12 brochure. It was deceptive, giving the impression
that home schoolers could get all this stuff free for joining. No where, in the brochure, was mention
made of the fact that the “free stuff” was paid for by the gov't or that once “enrolled,” the home school
became an extension of the gov't school.
I'm aware that there has
been some derogatory things stated about my pieces. What I wrote is based on fact, not what
I want to be. My concern is the
deliberate deception by K12.
