Locke to outline school safety agenda in speech to Tacoma Rotary

OLYMPIA - Gov. Gary Locke will discuss school safety issues before the Tacoma Rotary of Pierce County No. 8 luncheon tomorrow, May 6, at 12:15 p.m.  The luncheon will take place in the ballroom of the Sheraton Tacoma Hotel, 1320 Broadway Plaza.

In addition to discussing items from his school safety agenda that have already passed the Legislature, Locke will call on legislators to pass the Whitney-Graves bill when they return for a special session later this month.  The bill would require parents who keep guns at home to store them safely, where children can't get to them.
